June is officially here, and Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky are wasting no time, this first week of the month is already packed. Whether you’re in the mood for a throwback night out at the aquarium, fresh finds from local makers in OTR, or parish festival food that hits different, there’s something on this list for you. Fish + Sips: Retro Night at Newport Aquarium – Friday, June 6
An after-hours, 21+ night at Newport Aquarium is already a great idea, an after-hours, 21+ retro night at Newport Aquarium is an excellent idea. This is the aquarium after dark, without the crowds, with a Silent Disco playing 80s and 90s hits, themed signature cocktails, grazing stations, and live animal encounters. They’re encouraging retro attire (loud is better, apparently), and honestly? This sounds like one of those nights that’s just genuinely fun in a way you don’t fully expect until you’re there. Tickets are $69.99 and include three drink tickets, food, and all the nostalgia you can handle.

Art on the Rise: Wellness and Liberation at Cincinnati Art Museum 📍 Cincinnati Art Museum (Art Climb), Eden Park, Cincinnati 🕐 9–11 AM 🎟️ FREE · No reservations needed An outdoor morning event on the Art Climb stairway — meditation to start, then a collaborative drumming session with the Cincinnati Music & Wellness Coalition, a community mural project led by Happen Inc., free drop-in art making from the CAM Cruiser, and a dance showcase from Heroes Rise to close it out.
